Islamologist, theologian, author and lecturer
Kahina BAHLOUL is a lawyer and Islamologist, graduate of the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, specialist in Muslim mysticism. Her research focuses particularly on the cosmology of Ibn ‘Arabî and his legal doctrine. She is interested in the universality of the message of Islam and religious diversity. She is also involved in the issue of women’s religious ministry and the role of women in places of worship in Islam and is working on the foundation of a liberal mosque.
